Élodie Coussot is a 30-year-old mother. This sports trainer offers home and group fitness classes in Bayeux for future and young mothers.
sweetness. Élodie, Bayeusaine, embarked on this perinatal sporting activity in 2019. Returning to her hometown since last November, the versatile sports coach is interested in the well-being of future and young mothers. She adapts her yoga, dance, bodybuilding, hiit and cross training skills to mothers who wish to be accompanied during this maternity period.
For future mothers, Élodie adapts the sport that can be done “from the beginning to the end of pregnancy”, thanks to delicate methods such as yoga. For the more athletic, the latter can do slightly more intense exercises such as cardio hiit and weight training. As for young mothers, the resumption of sport takes place “three weeks after giving birth” thanks to “breathing exercises, rehabilitation of the perineum, muscle strengthening”, specifies the coach.
Élodie, who is preparing to give group lessons in Bourgébus, at the Maison du Bien-Être Familial Hauméa next April, also wants to organize gymnastics lessons with strollers.
The idea is for moms to get together to play sports around the stroller, such as squats and running. They don’t have to worry about taking care of their children.
For these lessons Élodie chose the Bayeux Botanical Garden and the stadium. “ All my courses are aimed at the well-being of mothers who often feel frustrated at not knowing how to practice a sport “. A real demand by women for him sometimes lost between “two extremes. Those who exercise too much and those who don’t do it at all. I propose a balance between the two “.
