A: The first beta is currently only available on PC. However, we intend to include console gamers in our next tests!

A: Yes, we are planning further testing beyond this first PvP beta.

A: The beta version is currently available in North America, Europe, Latin America, Brazil, Korea, Japan, Australia / New Zealand, Taiwan and Southeast Asia.

A: The PvP beta is currently available in English (US) and partially in other languages. A: Your progress will definitely not carry over to the final game, the beta is not final but the means for our team to test the current version ofOverwatch 2. Important changes and improvements will be made between now and its release.

Q: Will Mac users be able to participate in the PvP beta?
A: No, this beta version was developed for Windows PC, so there won’t be a Mac version.

Drop on Twitch and streamer selection

The group Watch over teams up with Twitch to celebrate the release of theOverwatch 2. You can follow some broadcasts ofOverwatch 2 for a very limited time to get a PvP beta invite via the associated Twitch release campaign.

This limited-time campaign will start on April 27, 2022 at 7:00 pm (Paris time) and will end on April 28, 2022 at 3:00 am (Paris time). To participate, you will need to follow a selection of streamers who will be streaming the PvP beta ofOverwatch 2 (in the category Watch over). You will qualify for these Twitch Drops after following a participating channel for four hours. Your watch time will be counted as long as you watch a broadcast from the following list:

Link your Twitch account to your account to get a beta version. To collect a drop from theOverwatch 2you must have a license Overwatch 2 associated with your account. Players who don’t already have Watch over they will still be able to access the PvP beta through a free trial that will be offered to them for the duration of the test. If you don’t need to install Watch overthis may reduce the download and installation time of the beta version.
