“You were here just this morning.”
Kanye West reignited the dispute between his and Kim Kardashian’s co-parenting of their four children today when he implied that he is not “allowed” to see them.
In an Instagram post featuring the pins of Kim, Ye and a cartoon green alien on North’s backpack, the rapper wrote cryptically that that’s why he goes “so hard” on his family.
“It was on my daughter’s backpack when I was ‘allowed’ to see it last week,” he said. “This is why I put so much effort into my family. I am programmed to protect my family at all costs. As a priest in my home. Don’t worry Northy, God is still alive.”
In a comment captured by @commentsbycelebs, Kim replied, “Please stop this narrative, you were here just this morning picking up the kids from school.”
Ye’s accusations come after months of Kim accusing him of having “an obsession with trying to control and manipulate our situation” at the expense of everyone involved.
For its part, the 2 the artist claimed that Kim “tried to antagonize him” by “playing” with North, who has a TikTok account run by Kim, much to her chagrin.
The renewed custody issues also come amid conversations about Ye’s “misogynist and controlling” parenting style. Over the weekend, she criticized Kim and North’s since canceled TikTok singing along with Machine Gun Kelly and Willow Smith’s “Emo Girl” collaboration.
Previously, he had been criticized for saying that his youngest daughter, Chicago, looked “overgrown” in selfies shared by Khloé Kardashian that appeared to have been filtered out.
Finally, Ye’s post comes after an alleged exchange of text messages between him and Kim’s boyfriend, Pete Davidson, in which the Live Saturday night star pleaded with him to “handle these matters privately.” He wrote: “What you are doing to your family is dangerous and will mark them for life.”
