Ouarzazate – The Regional Investment Center (CRI) of Drâa-Tafilalet organized, on Wednesday, in Ouarzazate, a communication meeting on digital marketing for the benefit of women entrepreneurs and project leaders.
This meeting is part of the actions aimed at encouraging investment and entrepreneurship among women on the initiative of the CRI, in partnership with different actors and in coordination with the wilaya of the Drâa-Tafilalet region and the province of Ouarzazate, with the aim to promote female entrepreneurship in the region.
This initiative aims to train women entrepreneurs in the field of e-commerce, promote sales through social networks, promote the work of women entrepreneurs and exchange experiences and good practices between participants and actors in this field.
The meeting was characterized by the organization of training sessions on a range of topics, including “Internet presence”, “digital marketing”, “e-commerce”, “social networks and marketing” and “marketing techniques in a wide range of applications “.
In a statement to the MAP, the director of the CRI section of Ouarzazate, Youssef Ait Bentaleb, said that this meeting, organized as part of the celebration of International Women’s Day, aims to strengthen and include women in the socio-economic world and to make female entrepreneurship is an investment lever that generates wealth and jobs.
She stressed that this can be achieved through the promotion and strengthening of female entrepreneurship, the exchange of experiences and good practices between participants and actors, and e-commerce training, especially through social networks.
For her part, Karima Moukharij, president of the association of entrepreneurs “Entre Elles”, indicated that this meeting allowed women members of the association to take advantage of this training intended for entrepreneurs and members of various cooperatives and associations in the province of Ouarzazate in order to promote their products and develop their sales.
The economic system in the Drâa-Tafilalet region relies in particular on cooperatives and solidarity marketing, she said, noting that these cooperatives and women entrepreneurs have no experience in product marketing, particularly through social networks.
On the sidelines of this meeting, a visit was made to the Ouarzazate Solidarity Trade Center, which exhibits local products from the region.
