Green women entrepreneurs in a nutshell

Green women tenant is a support program for green female entrepreneurship run by BIDAYA with financial support from UNDP. Launched in April 2020, it aims to support for a period of two years 29 projects with an environmental impact led by womenthrough 3 promotions. The first 7-month support phase revolves around two strong axes,

An incubation period of 4 monthswhich aims to strengthen the entrepreneurial skills of project leaders and support them in structuring their economic model. The incubation program includes collective support activities (for cross-functional subjects) and individual support activities (to meet the specific needs of each entrepreneur).

A 3 month acceleration periodaimed at supporting them in their search for funding and facilitating their access. This objective is achieved thanks to specific and reinforced support activities and the establishment of a seed fund that allows them to access honorary contributions and / or loans for a total amount of + 450kMAD.

Closing ceremony

On February 24, 2022 in Casablanca, the entrepreneurs of the program participated in the “Green Village”. This concept store allowed them to exhibit their products for two days and to meet new customers by offering green alternatives.

On February 25, 2022, the program concluded with a ceremony that commemorated the main achievements and celebrated the entrepreneurs supported. This ceremony was also an opportunity to start a debate on the importance of supporting green and female entrepreneurship in Morocco.
