This is the first forum on women’s entrepreneurship in Morbihan. Symbolically, it will take place on 8 March in Vannes, on the occasion of International Women’s Rights Day. On the program for this day organized by the prefecture of Morbihan: round tables, workshops, partner forums for business creation, testimonials from entrepreneurs, etc. The entrepreneur elected to the ICC of Morbihan, Ariane Pehrson will give her testimony.
In France, 29% of entrepreneurs are women. As for startups, only 5% were founded by an all-female team and 10% by a mixed team.
“Faced with this state of affairs, the state and its partners have decided to strengthen their efforts to encourage and support the creation / acquisition of businesses by women, by signing a new three-year framework agreement (2021-2023) which is reflected in Brittany in a regional action plan. The latter aims to significantly increase the share of women creating businesses (40%). In particular, it plans to develop post-creation support for female entrepreneurs and to promote their access to finance.underlines the prefecture of Morbihan, at the origin of a dedicated event.
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, March 8, Joël Mathurin, prefect of Morbihan, wanted to support and promote female entrepreneurship and asked the Entreprendre Au Féminin Bretagne association to organize a key event. This will be the first forum on women’s entrepreneurship in Morbihan which will be held on Tuesday 8 March 2022 at the Palais des Arts et des Congrès in Vannes, from 13:30 to 20:30. The “All Entrepreneurs” event is open to everyone: entrepreneurs, who are thinking about professional retraining or as part of a future creation, students who are wondering about their future, etc.
This forum aims at promote initiatives and projects brought by women through testimonies and sharing of experiences. By bringing together several partners for business creation, it will do so too facilitate access to information and expertise innovate, develop or adapt an economic activity. Finally, it will allow women to access resources, in particular financial, material or technical.
Sailor Anne Liardet, a pioneer of the Vendée Globe and who has several sailing competitions to her credit around the world, will sponsor the event and share her experience and determination to build any challenge.
