Closed from 20 May 2012, in October 2020 the works of the former Quincieu pool in Aiguilhe began with the cleaning and removal of asbestos from the buildings. The pools have been removed and companies are currently working to set up the walkway at the entrance to the building, which will be the main door of the future sports hall. The goal is to allow clubs to move to their new premises for the start of the 2022-2023 season.

The Multisport Hall will consist of an area intended to host various sports practices, a weight area, changing rooms, toilets, offices for associations, as well as technical and storage rooms. The 620 square meter space for gymnastics will have a section dedicated to stationary equipment; the judo will benefit from a space of 621 m² with a large tatami that will allow to host two fighting surfaces while the part dedicated to boxing (462 m²) will allow to have homologated rings.

A total area of 3,045 m2
To achieve this great development, the community was able to benefit from 55% of regional funding and state aid for a project costing approximately 3.55 million euros. The Multisport Hall should delight the numerous sports clubs that have been asking for more spacious rooms for several years.
